I am actually very happy with todays game.

We made a ton of mistakes all through the game, but you can feel where the team is headed.  I love that we are starting 4 rookies on defense and still competing.  The Oline actually played decent, I LOVE the way Mike Davis plays.  Teddy made mistakes, WR's dropped balls, Slye hit is FG fat, lots of missed tackles, etc.  So many mistakes but so much to look forward to.

one slot better on the draft board also.

Honestly it was a poo show from coaches to QBs. I mean Chinn was beast mode but after that meh.

This game is 99% on Teddy. Put 0.5% on the staff and the other 0.5% on Slye. But yeah, it's definitely far and away primarily on the QB.

The one theme I keep hearing Rhule preach to this team is about being a "tough ass football team." MN was the much tougher and gritty team to come down from 2 scores and still win. This team still has a lot to improve on. We are what our record shows, a below average team.

The whole point though is that teams often find themselves in positions they 'shouldn't be in' and have to find ways to win. Week in and week out Teddy and the offense have these chances and fail. Hell, they had 3 chances today and failed two of the 3.

The reason why we lost is because of the coaching staff. The reason why we aren't consistent is because of Teddy. But he has been consistent enough to win games but those games our defense has given up a ton of 3rd downs and too many points. But Teddy has played well enough to either win the game or give us a chance. But not well enough to put us over the top.

This.  The team is horribly inconsistent from one game to the next, one quarter to the next, one possession to the next.  We've got rookie coaches, a lot of rookies on defense, an Offensive line and a mediocre QB and a lot of special circumstances due to Covid.  People are acting like this team was going to be a contender, and it never was.  But at times, you get a glimpse of potential, but it's not the reality now.  There is enough blame to go around in the losses.
