Please convince me that we’re better off with him in spite of Teddys shortcomings . I’m really trying.

He called a play that had DJ wide open in the end zone and Teddy missed him. Another QB makes that throw and the game goes out of reach. That’s not a coordinator issue.

Specifically requesting the chicken poo is where he messed up.

That’s a valid concern but the GM signs the player and the coach puts him in the starting lineup. Teddy is giving him a chance to install an offense and see what weapons fit in. From here we upgrade the QB, TE, and some of the line and theres no telling how great we can be.

While I'm not always a fan of his situational calls - for instance, that power/toss right before the 2 minute warning, followed by two incomplete passes changed the game for the worse.  That being said, even though we lost yards on the run, Teddy threw the ball out too quick and the receivers dropped them both times.  So, although the calls weren't ideal, Teddy often makes them far worse.

The playcall on the pass to DJ was fantastic.  Too bad we didn't have a QB who can make the throw.  That wasn't on Brady at all.  But, this season, I say all of our losses except the second Tampa game were either Teddy or Brady's fault.  Today was Teddy.

If they had just run the ball, none of this would be in question. It was 3rd and goal at the 3. Run it twice. If you don't score, Minn gets the ball on the 1 yd line with about 37 seconds left.

Would have been the wiser move but fact of the matter is we threw to an open guy in the endzone. The coaches can't draw it up any better than that.

Given that it's his first year as an offensive coordinator, there's definitely things to work out but I think overall he's been pretty good.

I definitely don't think he's ready to be a head coach, but bad teams do stupid things.

Brady’s biggest issue is crunch time. He needs to work that out. Calls a decent game most of the time outside of the end of half’s.

I don’t care about that play. Everyone is focused on one particular call, when My concern stems from things like third quarter adjustments, situational play calls, the efficiency of the offense etc.

spacing is routinely bad in the red zone....against the lions personnel groupings and substitutions were late causing us to burn timeouts in WEEK ELEVEN..... Hell can anyone remember the last time the Panthers have run a successful screen play?

Listen, the jury is still out. He’s a first time Pro coordinator, still getting acclimated, But there is a lot of Shet that can be improved upon. The question for me is does it happen and when.

Playcalling will look a lot better with a new person lining up under center or pushing Teddy for reps in practice. He looks complacent to me this year. Like he knows because he has a three year deal he isnt at risk of being benched. Maybe if we drafted a guy to be his heir apparent it would push him to try and develop some new habits.
