So it is verified he is lazy?

That's been his rep since his college days.  He has relied on natural talent and doesn't put in the work.

And, yes, he was very "finesse" and not a physical player AT ALL at Ole Miss.  If there was a play to be made by his seeking out a defender and making a physical aggressive play he would avoid it.

That was his rep.  He proved it at the NFL Combine.  And the combination of the two had him in a free fall on Draft Day until Marty Hurney TRADED UP to get him.

Im not fully ready to bust out the bust label. Greg needs to be locked in the weight room with 50 gallons of bull semen. After that visit an OL guru here is one of the better ones - https://lbolineperformance.com/

Hes still only 23 years old and has about all the wants in a LT frame. Just needs confidence, body armor , and a mind set. Plus about 5k snaps.....

We could draft a rookie to do all that.

If a guy is going into his third year and still needs that much help, he's not worth it.

99.9% need that and some rookies may be older than Greg this year. Sewell is the best LT Ive seen since Anthony Munoz, be a miracle for the panther to draft him. College rules have just about killed the OL, no one is ready and each needs tons of time/work. Im at 10% belief in Little, this off season, hes at a career fork.

I'm pretty much at zero, but even a 10% belief wouldn't be enough for me to keep him.

Wouldnt shock me if hes gone this off-season. Rhule has plenty of magic tricks, I hope he can use one on fixing him. Panthers badly need him, AT least be a swing tackle( would be a plus given the 2021 outlook for OL). Daley has let me down about the same, thought he would be a starter this year and grow into core player.

Despite being healthy, he was inactive for a game where we were thin on the line due to other players being injured.

Said it elsewhere: If they don't want you in that situation, they don't want you.

I'd be extremely shocked if he's on the roster next year. He's just not worth the effort.

Remember when we traded a second round pick to draft Armanti Edwards? That was fun. Other teams were nabbing interior linemen, running backs, and tight ends, but we got our guy. Classic. No clue how Hurney is employable after that. And I don’t mean as an NFL GM; I mean at all. Period. No chance I would hire a guy that thought that was a good idea.

Agreed. Literally anyone w competence saw that. I wouldn't hire him to cut my grass because I couldn't trust him to do even that after making a move like that.

Technically he wasn't employable...at least not by anybody but us.
