I don't think Teddy has been good today, but there are posters here claiming he doesn't ever hit receivers in stride.  That isn't true, at all.  Teddy can't throw deep for his life and that's a huge problem, but his problem is not inability to hit receivers in stride.

Hitting a WR in stride less than 10 yards downfield is easy to do. He’s had a huge issue with WRs further downfield. How many TDs has Moore missed because he had to come back to the ball or slow down? Teddy’s not a good enough QB for our future and his arm strength is a problem. He floats the ball so his timing has to be perfect and we saw it again when he missed Moore. Arm strength matters way less on such a short throw because it’s a fraction of a second difference. Almost every QB hits that WR in stride because it’s almost hard at that distance to not hit Robbie in stride.

In my defense, I'm not saying he never hits receivers in stride, but he takes them out of their stride more often than people acknowledge.  His accuracy and anticipation are supposed to be his strengths, yet he has taken his receivers out of momentum on his passes more often than someone who is so highly regarded in those areas should.

I'm not sure I can say whether he does it more often than not or what.  I can say that relative to Brees' top receivers, we are getting more YAC out of Teddy-to-our-WRs (in most cases, anyway).

I can't envision the Vikings winning this game, but then again I can't envision them winning any game.

Whats with your strong Vikings dislike. We have a better record than you and was actually a playoff team last year. Be humble, you guys suck.

He has the 2nd highest completion percentage in the league, while playing with a bunch of number 2s. Despite you guys thinking DJ Moore is Randy Moss, he isnt. With AT playing he would be at best the 3rd best WR on the field.

Yeah, using competition percentage as your talking point. Not good.

More likely it would have been an incompletion and a pass interference. He did have a handful of jersey that would have looked rough if he was jumping.

That's was exactly what they did to us on the first series. This refs are not too notch.

In the context of the discussion, there was an argument that the reason Teddy sucks relative to other weak armed QBs with short-to-intermediate games is the lack of putting the ball in a place for YAC.  That is strictly not true.  Proudiddy may be right that he is not placing the ball as well as we would like, but he is doing so well overall.

edit: and again yeah his arm strength blows.
