Most people decide their opinion on players before they even play a snap. And if early returns aren’t amazing, they’re forever in the doghouse with no hope of redemption.

That's the thing - his returns have been pretty great. He's just not their ideal image of a QB.

Same fan base that bitches and moans about Brees dinking and dunking his way to like an .800 record against us.

Man I don't understand this fan base. I didn't realise Bridgewater was public enemy number one.

He's not, but when you dump a former league MVP and the most popular and loved Panther in franchise history for a guy that you decide to pay more to and he plays like Teddy has been, there is rightfully gonna be some anger and frustration.  The fact that half the fanbase find more hope in starting our UDFA backup QB isn't because they hate Teddy...  it's because he appears to be the better QB capable of moving the offense.

The defense balling out last week also made a difference. Amazing how people forget the end zone picks last week, too. It’s not like PJ proved he’s our franchise QB. He moved the ball better than Teddy but we still sucked in the red zone.

No one is forgetting that

that can be taught out

throwing with velocity can’t be taught. Either have it or don’t

that’s the issue

Idk about great. He came out of the gate looking really good, but it seems opposing defenses have game-planned away his biggest strengths the last month or so and the results have been less than stellar.

I know.  But that's why I emphasize coaches...  Teddy was their decision, not Hurney's...  and they don't want to admit they were wrong.

Maybe if we were still talking about Ron Rivera, I could listen to that. Matt Rhule doesn't fit that profile at all.

He's had absolutely no issue with benching Greg Little and one of his own Temple guys in Tahir Whitehead.
