Currently the active roster has Brown, Kerr and Roy

Brown will be the anchor of our DTs for years to come.

Kerr I hope we can retain for another season.  I like his attitude and he plays hard and makes plays.

Roy is a rookie but seems to be doing OK. Not a whole lot of stats but he seems OK.

We also use Obada as a rotational DT.

Your thoughts?

It's a group that certainly has its strengths and allows us to compete. Brown is going to be a monster in the league and you can't help but love how Kerr does out there. Roy is going to be a solid rotational piece and I actually like Obada working from the inside more than the outside (I've always thought his strength way outweighed his agility and knowledge of the game).

Personally, I wouldn't have the least bit of a problem if this group went untouched into next season. KK Short, well, perhaps it's time for him to shuffle off to Buffalo and get a restart up there.

If our top 10 pick rookie wasn't looking better than a 30 year old career journeyman, that would be a big red flag.

I disagree. Brown wasn't exactly a finished product coming in. He is dominant at times and then gets beat others. Kerr has been more consistent all year.

Burns wasn't our best pass rusher last year in a crowd of vets. Now he is an elite pass rusher. Not every rookie starts out an All-Pro.

Didn't mean it as a knock on Kerr. He's been very solid and a pleasant surprise. But that's what he is - solid. He's not a difference maker. Brown is. Brown is just a lot more talented, as he should be.

I can't wait to see 2021 Brown and 2022 Brown. I think a lot of people will be eating their words from Draft Day.

After 2 season ending injuries, are we writing off KK? Is he donezo? We really need him on the field or we need to replace him.

Yeah, he is done. He probably gets cut next offseason. Right now we have a decent replacement for him in Kerr. Is he prime KK good? No. But we also haven't seen prime KK in a few seasons.
