Mine was almost 39 years ago.  Helpless is the only word to describe it. 

Among the things it left me with is a different perspective when behind the wheel and hearing sirens.  I get fighting-level irate when people don't get over.

I read his bio. Not a whole lot of info there other than that he was a longtime Giants SC guy (looks like he was around for one year of John Fox's time there). Also spent some time in New Orleans and New England.

I was the guy in the back of the rig a few weeks ago when COVID finally got the best of me. Obviously, the wife wasn't allowed to ride, but I watched her out the back door window following and just felt like crap she had to go thru that.
