NCAA make billions off the backs of these kids, I dont give a damn if they take money

Agree that they deserve the perks. But it is against the rules and I’m sure there was more to be found if the ncaa wanted to look harder. My issue with paying players is that it is unfair for all the schools and will pretty much create a money laundering system for bribes.

nice show of sportsmanship from Young though. Kid is gonna be a stud for a long time. Wish the panthers had him.

Like a lot of people say this. “I don’t care about them taking $$$ under the table and getting impermissible benefits.” I bet you do care if your rival school starts stacking talent because they are cheating and paying players under the table.

it’s true that the college athlete is exploited heavily by the NCAA, and they do deserve to be able to market their NIL - I mean we do live in a capitalist society right?

what’s going to happen is that it’s going to open a box of bribery and the rich will get richer. Good luck seeing any March madness upsets, and it’s going to basically be the same teams across the board winning titles with all the talent because they have the boosters and private funds to write checks.

Zion went to dook because his family got a house, siblings in private schools, and his mom got a job at Nike. Unfair recruiting advantage.

And because it was such an insignificant amount it became him sitting out two games and being back out there. No other incidents his whole career. You are attempting to make a larger issue out of this than it was.

Ok then. Case closed. Thanks Veronica Mars!

I remember a long time ago this young dipsh-t tackle named Everett McIver decided it would be a good idea to trash talk Bruce Smith.

Apparently he was a lot better trash talker than he was a blocker, because he got Smith really pissed off.

In his anger, Smith blew right through McIver and absolutely leveled Boomer Esiason. Esiason didn't get up.

Smith stood over Esiason looking concerned pretty much the entire time they were working on him. He and Esiason were friendly. He didn't want anything bad to happen to him.

Unsurprisingly, McIver didn't exactly have a Hall of Fame career in the NFL. he's probably better remembered for the incident where Michael Irvin stabbed him in the neck with a pair of scissors then he is for anything he did on the field.
