I’m not sure what they mean by didn’t work out for them. Didn’t they go from #1 pick to playoffs? They were a playoff team in 4 of his 6 years. If not for an odd injury they would likely have been a playoff team all but one year he was there.

Yeah I follow the top QBs every year and I can see why he is hot right now but there are still so many question marks for me on him, Lance, Trask, Newman, etc.

We've seen recent stories say that the Panthers like this year's crop of quarterbacks and that nearly every team in the league has inquired about Wilson.

Gotta figure he's on our board, maybe high.

He was a good QB but never achieved much in terms of greatness. That largely had to do with supporting cast and health, IMO but he was not a great NFL player, nor did he have a distinguished career. He was close and that makes the fact that his career was so short more tragic.

We would probably have to throw in another 2nd in 2022 and our first in 2023 as well.  IMO its going to take AT LEAST 3 firsts to get to draft TL.
