I'm a pretty big homer, but as with all statistics, this is a very big if.

Offensive lines change, opponents change, records change, injuries occur, and much more. Don't get me wrong, DeAngelo is the offensive future of this team, but just look at players like Randy Moss, LaDanian Tomlinson, Ryan Grant. Look at teams like the Packers, Dolphins, and Falcons. Shifts (and sh*t) happen! Can't count on anything except will, drive, and luck.

DeAngelo started out behind the hype of Stewart. I think all of that hype for Stewart gave DeAngelo a lot of motivation and it shows he picked his game up to a new level after the 5th game or so

DeAngelo should win the MVP. They usually give it to the best performer on the championship caliber teams. Thus the name "most valuable player" and not to mention he already got snubbed from the pro bowl.
