I’m told by informed huddler Carl Spackler that despite post training camp depth chart the only reason Pj is #2 is because we don’t have cmc and we need to use him as a hb as well but make no mistake Grier is our solidified secret #2 and is better than Pj

Lol

Lol, as I said

How'd Curtis Samuel look last season?

I don't know if Grier will be better this year, but I do know what I've seen from PJ Walker so far makes me think if he didn't have a Matt Rhule connection, he wouldn't be on an NFL squad.

The question will be moot if Bridgewater practices, but I'd rather see Grier if he doesn't.

Like a dude playing out of position and in a role that didn’t suit him.

Since we didn’t have preseason I’d still rather have an honest look at a start catered to him over Grier. Just one.  If the option is those two.   Then we would know how many QB spots we need filled.

I don't see the problem as the offense not being catered to him.

I see the problem being that he's an XFL quality quarterback trying to play in the NFL.

And seriously, if we have to adjust the system in order to make it possible for him to play in it, why do we have him?

It would seem that uninformed idiot onmyown should learn to think on his own

PJ is second because Grier sucks ass. It’s been proven. It’s not complicated, no coach removes a QB that gives the team a better chance to win for a practice squad/XFL player for the hell of it. They both suck and Grier sucks more.

Grier was taken because he’s a home native and Hurney is a dumbass, proven sucker for that - see Armanti edwards. Everyone and all experts on the fuging planet knew we should’ve taken Maxx Crosby instead of Grier except Hurney.

No one cares what Twitter or the media says, they’re all fluff words, were you just born?

He was good. The QB couldn’t get him the ball.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Teddy Bridgewater is expected to be limited in practice Wednesday.

By all accounts, Bridgewater is day-to-day with a "minor" MCL sprain. He's likely to practice in limited fashion all week, but he appears to be on the right side of questionable for now. We'll see how his knee holds up in practice though. If things go sideways, P.J. Walker would receive a spot start.

Good news.

That said, should probably bundle Teddy & CMC together if a crossroads is reached and the team shifts in preservation & evaluation mode.

Grier is trash ..

Good thing Huddle is not GM ..

Draft Grier, they said, Grier trash ..

Re-sign CMC, they said, CMC trash ..

you have no valid points.

Huddle was not into Grier.  He was basically an end-of-day-two gamble.  Most knew it.

CMC has missed a few games due to injury.  It happens.  However, he is a dual threat--so is Samuel.  Not just a RB.  In the NFL you pay for production, and his deal is expensive, but it covers CMC's prime.  Injuries happen.

Cam is sucking--they are running the ball and he is in the 150 yards per game category.  He wanted $30m per to play here--playing on a 1-year deal in NE for much less. Cam will be somewhere else next season, and then maybe he will retire.  He can't throw like he did, his timing and reads are off. So he is starting for a losing team in a bad division.  So what?

I'm not sure we can just throw anyone on the trash heap yet, particularly those who haven't seen the field or only limited time there. PJ or Will, neither are our best choices, but they probably both deserve some kind of shot if Teddy is hurt. Both definitely need some audition time for second stringer position for next season.

Okay, we can throw Whitehead under the trash heap now. That guy has played awful. Sorry Tahir, the tape tells the tale.
