Turn overs

At some point Fox/Davidson has to say to hell with it, and let Jake throw downfield and risk the INT's anyway. Should've been this game, they can't win against good teams trying to coach Around Delhomme.

I wonder if they are trying to limit INT's because they know if it happens much more they are forced to bench him.

Just because Jake used to do good in the superdome in years past doesn't mean he would again. The Jake we have now is a different Jake than the one who had 3 years ago. He's not the same guy anymore.

Yesterday that wasn't true, at the beginning of the season it was. Football is about well you play good or bad today not last week or last year. And Jake played well yesterday just like he did all of his career in the dome. Players get a feel for certain stadiums for some reason and play well. This is one of Jake's.

Physically he is better than he was 3 years ago. Mentally it is still up in the air but the last 2 weeks are certainly reasons for optimism. If you aren't a hater, that is.

Obviously the coaching staff has no confidence once so ever that Jake can complete a long pass. Otherwise we wouldn't be running up the middle on 3rd and 15.

Yeah and that long pass to Smitty and that perfectly thrown ball to Jarrett prove why they shouldn't trust him...................

Oh wait...........................

Nevermind.

Fox did what I wanted, run the ball over and over. I thought it was a good game plan and we almost beat the undefeated Saints. We could of opened up the pass a little more in the second half though, I don't think Saints were ready for it but it was a good game. The guys played hard and I have no complaints in this loss. Sucks we didn't pull it off but give the Aint's some credit where credit is due. We stil got some work but we got 5 home games coming up, let's just hope we win those and have another game or two go our way. It's not over yet but we got a lot of work to do. With all the ups and downs this season. Fox has done a good job at keeping everyone together. Go panthers and I love boobs, weed and beer.

Yeah it was Stewart at the 14 yard line. Williams bobbled the ball afew times but ended up pulling it back in without fumbling. Still it was the fumble at the 2 that killed us.

So this is what killed us? Not the inept play calling??

Ok.

No, he's right, the fumble at the end killed us. The playcalling put us in that position in the first place, but proper execution on behalf of the player on the individual level would have kept us in the game. He held out the ball, fumble, game, bus ride, cry
