Yep, Im sure that report is somewhere online. I read a few times months or so ago. Same report of how they lost thousands the night before and how Baker planned to get his money back. Part of it is on camera(cars and lawyers giving people money).

i mean the plan seems legit.  poorly executed, but legit.  if its on camera i don't think anyone will sign him

Sometimes guys need a wake up call. By his own admission, Robby Anderson was basically a fug up at Temple at Temple and Rhule went to bat for him.

Robby was of good character, just had a poor work ethic as it goes to academics.

I'm pleased Baker got a fair shake legally but feel there is zero chance Rhule & Hurney (co-PM's) would bring him in --- low/no character just doesn't fit into Rhule's locker-room.

That part (robbery) shows only the cars and hard to identify people moving around. (No guns, no watches, no money) They bought ski-masks and even parked the cars in a way for a fast get-a-way.  Lawyers  were shown on a elevator giving cash to the victims and there text messages too(robbery, pay-offs, and planning)

This is the NFL, Antonio Brown just got his 18th chance(funny not funny, he got some more recent issues too). Teams will always give 2nd, 3rd chances to highly talented players. Baker is very talented and very young, both are rarely on the free agent market. The background check on Baker gave him a great report, nothing pointed to this mess. All reports where he was a great kid, just got too much money and started hanging out others with too money.... and didnt like losing 50k+ and thought he could just take it back. Id for sure be open to signing him, my guess is some team will sign and the NFL will give him a suspension.

Interesting to review this thread from May, a few select quotes:

"Baker needs to spend time in prison."

"Man they didn’t take notes from OJ?"

"These two will not play another down any time soon."

"Kareem Hunt is not a felon.  These two are about to be felons."

"You really question the mental state of some people when they pull off stupid poo like this."

"There is no IQ test to be a criminal."

"These guys committed armed robbery with a firearm.  These guys are more likely to spend 5-10 in the pen than to play 5-10 more snaps in the NFL."

@Porn Shop Clerk was a rare voice of reason:  "What happened to "we don't know the whole story" and "guilty until proven innocent" or "we don't know what happened that led up to this"?"

"Based on the reports and the witnesses not appearing have seen nothing, he will spend some time in prison."

"Every story has both sides, but you’d have to get fairly creative to imagine extenuating factors that would make the prosecution back down from this."

"Who among us believes in the concept of innocent until proven guilty?"

We sure do live in a shoot now & take names later world these days...
