Also this is exhibit A on why you dont give out record setting contracts to running backs still on their rookie deal.

Shouldn’t of signed Cam, Keuchly, Olsen, Kalil, KK either with this injury logic.

Players get injured no matter the position. As we have seen it is not so easy to replace what CMC does.

Teams do not adjust for a HB like they do cmc except for maybe two other backs.

I feel like the coaches are not catching enough flack for refusing to give carries to Davis. They immediately gave CMC an insane load again and here we are.

dude got him, wrapped him up, and landed on him just like that brees hit.   that would have happened if it was his first play all year. and i 100% agree with you about everything being too focused on him when he's healthy

Seeing CMC as only a RB is absurd. You’re paying him to be the versatile, top tier talent that he is.

Ya I don't get it, people are bitter but CMC is a once in a generation offensive weapon and was paid to be one. We haven't see a lot of him this season so it isn't showing but they are lining him up at WR at least 30%(Need to look up the actual percent) of the time.

We should IR him, and I'll low-key be glad.

A) We need to save him for a season that matters, not use him up during a rebuilding year.

B) We need to learn how to run our offense without him. What did he play, 99% of offensive snaps last year? I understand he's a generational talent, but did we never hear of a spell RB? Honestly it just seemed like Ron was just trying to max the utilization of his best offensive weapon to try to scratch together enough wins to save his career. Putting the burden of the offense entirely on one person;  it has shades of the Cam Newton story, and we all know how that turned out. I want this offense to run the remainder of the year without him, so we understand how an offense can work without it solely focused on one megastar. That way when we get him back, he's the missing piece, not the linchpin.

I agree with B) 100% and Rhule gets that.

I don't think CMC allowed them to IR him though. He wants to play, i'm assuming thats where the second opinion came in. I'd tie CMC to Teddy. If Teddy ain't playing even if CMC is healthy sit him.

Not to mention his game changing by ability. For all the bitching about how Teddy doesn’t have that clutch factor, a healthy CMC brings it every game.

I think they should motion him every play. Sometimes he lines up in the slot and motions to the backfield. Sometimes, he motions from the backfield to the slot. Make him go from a A, to H receiver. There are all kinds of ways you could use CMC. I think CMC and Samuel could be used as targets and decoys, but one thing is for sure, you would have no issue exposing the defense and getting a favorable matchup, which could be devastating.
