No structural damage for Teddy. Status uncertain for Sunday.

Sit him. Let PJ throw some deep balls. DJ was toasting guys on Sunday and Teddy couldn't hit him.

I would like to see him with a week of practice and working on his timing.  He's throws yesterday we way off but he has so much more zip on the ball and can throw the deep ball.

Who knows how well he will do with a week of practice with the starting unit.

The problem is we're are about to start a 3 game stretch against teams that are so bad that they might be intentionally tanking. What's worse is that unless the Saints start losing they are going to rest their starters against us to insure we drop in the draft. It's a Saints tradition.

Huh? Lions just won their game and they are 4-5, not tanking. Minnesota looks way better the last two weeks. Beat GB and beat up on Detroit. Denver is bad like us but they are 3-3 after starting 0-3 although Las Vegas did shred them. They have had a tough schedule, losses are to Pittsburgh (by 8), Tennessee (by 2), KC, LV, Tampa and Atlanta.

If Teddy is out for 2-3 weeks, it would absolutely bolster our draft position. The one great thing we have is that GB with only 2 losses beat NO so NO can’t take the foot off the gas week 17. That #1 seed is key. GB plays at Chicago too and Chicago may still be going for the playoffs or just want to ruin GB’s chances.

Walker has looked absolutely panic stricken every time he's seen the field. He has a better arm than Teddy but that's pretty much it. He's looked absolutely terrible.

gotta at least let the guy prepare as the starter for 1 game before we judge him. Will Grier got that chance and looked mentally disabled. Walker might look better if he gets a chance to prepare. He might still suck balls but it's worth seeing what he can do in a lost season.

I hope Teddy is out until after the bye, but don't count on it. The Lions got a lead and then did noting (looked very tankish like they weren't trying). God willing we play the Viking team that beat GB, and not the trainwreck. NO might literally tank on us again.

We need them playing for something or they absolutely will and we'll strut around like we accomplished something while Payton laughs in the background. Fortunately, with the Bucs threatening and the Packers being right there for the bye, I don't see them having everything locked up in the final week this year.

NO needs two GB losses to be able to actually tank. GB beat them so even if they lose 1 and NO loses none, the game still means something. GB’s schedule is not difficult so having 2 or 3 losses going into week 17 seems probable. There are also 4 3 loss teams. NO also plays KC.

It would honestly be shocking if NO was somehow able to lose in week 17 and not have it hurt their seeding.

The Lions aren’t a good team and like us they have a suspect D. If CMC and Teddy aren’t playing, they would likely have to hand the ball to us to lose.

We need Teddy out to really cinch up our draft slot. I don’t see too much negative response to that thinking anymore since yesterday happened. I think they we’ve got a shot at the playoff folks realize the talent we have is the talent we were worried about earlier.

GB beat NO, so NO would have to be 13-2 and GB 11-4. That means NO wins out including KC and GB loses to Indy and ?. I don’t even see another potential loss before week 17. Also, don’t forget that there are 3 NFC West teams with 3 losses, none of whom NO played. They all lost to AFC teams like NO so even conference losses are the same with NO if they finish with the same number of losses.

I don’t see an easy way that week 17 doesn’t mean something to NO, especially since GB doesn’t have a tough schedule and has the tiebreaker.
