QB Conundrum

Yeah, because LSU just dunked and dinked their way down the field last year. Burrow didn’t put up ungodly numbers or anything. Yawn. Excuses followed by more excuses for Teddy.

C'mon man. Didn't you watch the games? Burrow was nothing more than a game manager propped up by elite talent. Dude couldn't make a play to save his life. No elite traits on display. I mean, just look at all these times when his inadequacies get bailed out.

Annnnnnd now we’re back to a not understanding football problem for you.

Because I don't make excuses for average-poo QB play? LOL. Cam Newton has no weapons, a poo offensive line, and a anemic defense and they beat the Ravens last night. Do you think Teddy could beat the Ravens? He can't even beat the Falcons FFS. And you're over here talking about excuses, and people not understanding football. Please stop. It's just terrible at this point.

You sure about that?

Because Joe Burrow's passing chart from the NCG looks oddly like a combination of his passing charts in CIN where they cut the field in half for him to make the high-low reads along with the dink and dunk style you're claiming that Brady (who was influenced by Payton) doesn't utilize.

So, the right corner of that chart looks pretty damn awesome to me. 132 yards passing on 3 passes? WTF dude? Really? Not to mention his ridiculous downfield passing in the SEC Championship and vs Bama. But, I digress.

Burrow is just Teddy 2.0 sure dude. Sure. fug it.

oh yeah teddy bridgewater would suddenly do things he has never done before professionally if not for the coaching staff and the offensive line.

everyone's getting thrown under the bus to protect precious teddy. it's the equivalent of complaining that tre boston would look much better if the front 7 wasn't trash. "tre can't tackle" is a perfectly acceptable take around here. won't see much argument to the contrary. hell igo has resorted to just insulting tre and whitehead. but for a certain type of "fan" teddy is totally off limits. sorry if the backlash that you caused has upset you lol. owned by the consequences of your own actions.

That's an incredibly polarizing way to look at it. I see it as Brady recognizing that Burrow operates best when only working with half of the field when trying to throw it deep (again, like what they're doing for him in CIN) while still implementing the style of offense that involves getting the ball to athletes in space.

But if somehow, y'all get "TEDDY IS BETTER THAN BURROW!" or "BURROW IS TEDDY 2.0!" out of that rather than "Joe Brady's offense is a west coast, dink and dunk style offense", I'm not sure what type of conversation we can actually have because that would mean that one party is having a calm, rational discussion while the other has been reduced to misrepresenting and gaslighting.

THAT is all facts. I think Wilson has the traits to be elite. So, we'll see man.

If we get another top 10 pick, it will help to add another starter. Getting a top 6-7 pick should net us a day one starter.

We just need the bodies. The path to success is going to be hard with a roster full of Boston's, Little's, Whitehead's, Thompson's, Okung's, Short's, etc. Gotta improve this roster tremendously.

Brady aired it out with Joe Burrow, you using one game as a microcosm of Joe Brady's offense at LSU just doesn't fit. I watched a lot of LSU games last year, and I remember Burrow airing it out a lot. Maybe Brady saw something on film vs Clemson that said don't air it out early. Because in the second half is when Burrow started showing his downfield accuracy.

I agree completely. But, it should help that we have a ton of cap space too, to get some of these positions filled. Well, hopefully. If Hurney is around, I'm not so sure.

I'm concerned about the person picking those players. It won't help if we burn those draft picks on the next Greg Little.

If the cap retracts, I don't think we will be looking at a ton of cap space. The cap space we so have may get nuked quickly with guys like Moton and Samuel to be signed.
