This is a *MAJOR* Problem.

The Teddy vs Brady checkdowns def is something to figure out. If Teddy is out this next game I will pay very close attention to the play designs on offense. I get getting what the d is giving most of the time, but in crunch time like the end of games you gotta use the deep passes and avoid the short underneath stuff.

It took to week 10 for our rookie coaching staff to get outcoached...

Too many hot take reactions on this one.

The talent is not there this year. Everyone should have known that already. Next year will be better.

Duh. Some of us were saying that and saying that we needed to save cap for 2022, go for a rookie QB and get as many extra picks as possible to build an OL. Ironically, like the 6-3 Dolphins did.

When you half ass it, you lose 3 of 4 comp picks, get the 10th pick and spend $90M+ on Teddy, Short, Apple, Roberts and Weatherly (our 5 year plan guys, SMH).

Instead of having and extra 3 picks for IOL and having a top QB pick and having 4 years of Moton and Samuel for 0 extra cap space than what we have now, we’ve got another losing year and none of that.

Has anyone actually tried to turn chicken poo into chicken salad? You know it still had poo in it, right?

Yesterday was the first truly uncompetitive game we have played with the least talented roster the franchise has ever assembled. This is a very strange time for people to be jumping off the cliff.

Exactly, we finally look like what we are and people go into vapor lock.  Or, they are just looking for a reason to complain.  Or, they deluded themselves into thinking this is actually a playoff-competitive team this year if it just weren't for Teddy and coaching.  Dummkopfs!!!!

I don't like yesterday, either.  It is the second game I have walked away from feeling frustrated, the first was the Atlanta loss (for a different reason, that was the one game I actually thought we would win).  But, young teams have games where they stink.  We had more games where we stunk in recent years with veteran teams.

I have said many times, I had zero expectations for this team.  They could have finished 1-15 or 8-8.  The fact that they have been competitive in games to date is actually quite an achievement.  But when you look at the talent, we are at least two more offseasons away from potentially being a good team.  If we draft well again, we will be better next year.  But we have too many holes to address in just one more offseason, and I don't want them to revert to thinking they are only a couple of players away and making dumb FA signings to throw the shite against the wall and see if it sticks.

Yesterday?  At one point the Bucs were 6 of 7 in third down conversions.  They finished at 10 of 16, we finished at 1 of 9%.  Generally, you are going to give up a lot of points at 62% third down efficiency against, and not score a lot at 11% on your side of the tally.  They ran up 544 total yards, we ran up under 200.  Our defense could not get off the field, and our offense could not stay on the field.  There are a lot of major problems......and we knew that!

It may be the first game that we looked worse than what I think we are, with, as you said, potentially the least talented roster we have ever had with coaches pretty green to the NFL.  I am not going to jump off the top of a building over that

Well said. Preseason we were predicting the worst D in the league. They had some rough games but for having a terrible secondary and 2 out of 3 well below average LBs and 3 rookies now making up our starting DL, the fact that we were middle of the NFL in scoring D before this week was actually impressive. It showed that the young guys were giving effort and bending not breaking. This weekend was rough and it likely stays that way because rookies hit walls and we depend on a lot of them. Right now we have 5 rookie starters, right? So 5 newbies and Whitehead, Donte and Boston make up 80% of the D. I mean c’mon. I’m more disappointed in the offense without CMC.
