Booth Review

Someone who knows the rules better than I do explain to me how the “booth” challenges a catch on a timeout? This seems like the exact type of play that is missed by officiating and subsequently ends in a loss for us but of course they negate a would be 3 points for us.

came in from ny. Teams can't challenge under two minutes.

generally you don't have enough time to do that booth review in situations like that but Bridgewater took his sweet fuging time and cost the team points

What the hell was he looking around for.  The whistle hadn't blown and he should have spiked the ball or throw it over the head of a receiver on the outside.  WTF.

First of all it wasn’t enough evidence to overturn. Secondly they didn’t booth review after the play happened. Only after a Tampa timeout. That’s BS in my opinion. That shows favoritism. Especially after the assclown Tampa player held DJ down to keep us from spiking the ball.

I'm not going to begrudge Tampa for calling the timeout to spur the review. Teams have done that many times in the past and it was a smart play by them. As long as the offense hasn't snapped another play, the play can be reviewed. That's on us not having the awareness that the ball might've hit the ground.

Because it’s his fault? He had 10 seconds with people lined up and time to snap it. Refs can’t say a play didn’t happen. If he runs a play, the review opportunity is gone. He’s a dumbass.

Ummm, the refs can hold the play up if they choose. If the booth is telling them hey we see something they can stop the play.
