Vikings are 6th worst in cap space this year.  they need every bit of help they can get.  They are 8th worst right now for next year, and are over the projected cap of 176 million, per overthecap.com.   

Bring him in.

Well I'll admit sports medicine isn't my specialty so my guess is at best marginally more educated than yours might be. But I agree it seems less of a red flag than a knee issue, especially if he's playing guard and doesn't have to snap the ball.
