I agree. Brees, Brady, Warner, and Peyton Manning all threw at least one INT yesterday. It happens to every QB that is playing right now and every QB that ever will play in the NFL, and almost every one of them will go through a slump at some point in their careers. You still have to let them play though.

None of the QB's you mentioned have ever had a slump of the magnitude of Jake and even at his height he wouldn't even be close to the ability of any of them. He has been a gambler his whole career. Most of the time those succeeded but thats just not the case anymore. Sometimes when you keep Gambling and keep losing it might be time to call it quits.

Warner would be the only one that should even be mentioned and he just happens to be a undrafted QB himself that played in NFLE took his team to 2 SBs winning one losing the other to the patriots. There are a lot of similarities between them but it took Warner two new teams three new HC and 2 1st round receivers to rebound his career and he is by far the better athlete. I do think Jake is finished because no team is going to give him much of a shot considering how many chances we have had to endure.

I don't think so, its the other way around.

Davidson should be heralded as a genius for figuring out a way to keep the offense competitive without an actual QB at the helm in the NFL. Any other team and Jake would not be winning, he would have been cut long ago.

Fixed it for ya...

Sean Payton shows he can adjust...

We know that's not Fox's forte... Payton adjusted in the Miami game...he adjusted in the Panthers game. Fox, and his coaches, have a game plan they develop during the week and they'll be damned if they have to adjust mid-game.

Back in my day, we didn't have to make any fancy-schmancy adjustements. We ran the same plays over and over on offense and never came out of zone defense, cause everyone knows you don't play man coverage in this league!! By cracky, what's with all you crazy whipper snappers?...

... You expecting change or something???

/Fox's Mentality or lack thereof.

I've seen Brady and P. Manning both have some pretty damned awful games before, so that's not entirely true. P. Manning, in particular, has had some god awful play off performances. That's a fact.

When in a 6 game stretch did they manage only 4 tds but threw 15 ints (up until our game against the Cards). When in a playoff game has Manning thrown for 5 INTs and 1 fumble. Jake isn't worthy to hold either Manning or Brady's jock strap. If Fox had either he would have at least 1 SB most likely more.

A good OC can win even without a solid QB. Just ask Miami...

Last year? Pennington was solid if not spectacular last year. No, he didnt chunk it for a million yards, but also didnt turn it over...except for the last game.

So what exactly is the difference between this year and last? Was last year an enigma? Is it the loss of Kemo? Change in the QB coach?
