We also need a tall athletic TE to win jump ball throws in the redzone.

Franchise QB for the future, high ceiling.

We can't fill all of these needs. We don't have the money and draft picks to do all of that. So what is going to happen is whoever falls in the draft to us at a position of need we be drafted. No crazy reaching.

In free agency we'll spend enough to grab a couple of players who can replace some of our worst players.

Draft pick possibilities round 1:

1CB - Patrick Surtain II - Takes the pressure of the physically crumbling Jackson, and locks down opposing #1 WRs.

QB - Trey Lance - Sits and learns a season from Teddy and our excellent coaching staff.

TE - Kyle Pitts - Teddy doesn't want to throw picks in part because Rhule HATES turnovers and would rather Teddy throw it away than put up a jump ball. With Kyle Teddy might have the go ahead to toss it high in the endzone to Kyle. Kyle = more TDs.

The draft is going to be shocking because there are so many options. I have no clue what who we're picking. Not like last draft where 90% of the Huddle thought it was going to be Brown.

The likelihood of going CB really jumps if we win 2 or 3 more games during this season imo. Winning pushes us into a CB sweet spot in the draft. If we lose out we might go QB.

Yeah. "Good when healthy" doesn't mean much if you can't stay healthy.

I would strongly advise anybody whose offseason plans involve depending on Okung to rethink those plans.

Once they do, red zone offensive and 3rd down defensive will greatly improve.

• Lock Boston & Whithead out of the facility
• Extend/sign Douglas, Re-sign Moton & Curtis.  Keep the ST/depth guys we like that need to be re-signed.
• Draft a QB & Offensive Linemen.  But don't shy away from a LB is there's a promising rookie.
• FA target would be 1-2 min. fresh vets on the OL
• Can't fix everything in one offseason so we may need to prioritize and it could result in us picking up an average CB or two
• Same goes for DT/DL.  It's thin after Brown & Roy but I'd focus on offense when we can.

Secondary and O-line. We don't need a Luke at ILB but we need better than Whitehead and if we want to go deep in the playoffs probably better than Shaq. I still say sniffing around Myles Jack wouldn't bad idea.
