I think the fact that our coaches were afraid to let Jake win the game for us lost us the game.

Also- I think we shot ourselves in the foot today with Stewart. I KNOW he is a GOOD RB, but Williams was damn hot.

Stewart averaged only 2 yards per carry (i believe) while Williams was ripping the Saints apart.

His fumble on the goal line was the deciding factor in the game, but we should have never been in that situation to begin with.

We played with swagger in the 1st half- we played scared in the 2nd.

This one is on the coaches. I think Davidson needs to rethink what he is doing, and if they are going to let Delhomme play they need to let him take more shots down the field.

I think you could tell Delhomme was getting frustrated with the ultra conservative play calling. And INT's or Not- I DONT BLAME HIM..

7 minute 70 yard drives wont win games when you only get 3 points.

Jake is handicapping the offense. We could truthfully be so much better if we just had QB play that was at least respectable to a defense. We straight up beat the saints down in the first half. They stacked 8 and 9 in the box and they still couldn't stop the run. We scored out of shear superior personnel.

But honestly how can we win if run the ball every play? Which is basically what we did. We wasted so many 2nd downs today because of up the middle no gainers today when Jake should have been throwing the ball. But we can't trust Jake so Jake can't throw. 13 INT= no faith. It is so obvious that QB is the problem here I don't see how anyone can deny it. Its time for a QB change, it doesn't matter if Moore is better than Delhomme or not, we need a change. IF anything Moore will play differently and at least give defenses something to adjust to. But we can't keep doing this crap week in and week out, there is no point and no upside to stay with Jake.

You are speaking in what if, but he did, it wasn't if,he played well today why can't u except that the loss wasn't how bad Jake was for a change? On 1 play I remember Jake threw a perfect pass to Smith and he stopped on the route, and on another play Jarrett had butterfingers on a perfect pass. I'm gonna give blame where its due but today it wasn't Jake. Damn last week, year or month with the playcalling and dropped balls, defensive mistakes if Brees was on the opposite sideline we would still be 3 and 5 cause he wouldn't have gotten to throw the ball either cause Fox and Co believe that 11 Points is insurmountable no matter if we playing the #1 offense or not.

Davidson didn't give Jake a chance for him to turn it over. I applaud him for that. How many times does Jake have to prove that he just sucks? The only passes he can complete are the short dinks and dunks. Anything more is an interception waiting to happen.

that's what amazes me by this assessment. He was asked to throw it today. He moved the chains. Then Davidson tried to outsmart himself and f**ked up drives.

Jake finally threw a decent long ball to Jarrett. It wasn't Jake's fault Jarrett let it go right through his hands. and you're right. Jake should only dink and dunk it. But Davidson sucks at being creative with play calls.

I never said Jake sucks forever. I said we need a change. And he didn't play well today. In fact he played how I thought he would. Not great, but just barely enough to save face and not get benched. He made 2 great passes today, neither completed. 1 attempt to Jarrett on the sidelines and the 1 bomb to Smith that was a miscue. Otherwise he was overthrowing as usual.

The defense did all that could be expected. They have been keeping us in games all season but our offense can never return the favor for them. After 1st half we lost any kind of balance in our offense, eventually the Saints just committed everything to stopping the run. And the playcalling was totally protecting Jake's ass today just as it had against ARZ and the Bucs. Which is why he has no turnovers as of yet.

actually, bad play calling killed us throughout the game.. not just the 2nd half.

But no Qb will ever win games without throwing it and it's funny that Fox and Davidson are protecting Jake now they didn't have a problem throwing it 30+ times in 3 consecutive games when our run game was working. But today a few more passes were needed we were not gonna score 30 believe it or not hiding the qb. Jake is a liability when he is bad but today he could have given us a better chance. Everybody loves Moore except for Fox. I smell bullshit on that because I havent seen 1 teamate make an argument about a change. People want to make the Williams and Foster argument but at least Williams was playing at times which tells me either Fox maybe knows a little about football or doesnt know football at all (Highly unlikely seeing as he has 1 of 32 jobs in the world) or Moore is not the answer and Jake is coming around and actually is our best option.

If Smith could talk, this team woulda been fell apart

Its too bad Smith isn't as vocal and careless like a T.O, maybe the media would pick up where the problem is and put it right on the hot seat
