Whats the deal?

Is DJ just invisible to Teddy?

Is Teddy Truely afraid to throw downfield.

Im starting to see a trend.  And this has begun to happen every week now it seems.    Not trying to put down Teddy as he had a heckuva game.  But yet again he missed a sure fire TD (had 2 of them vs Atlanta to)

I knew this play in particular was gonna be posted before I even clicked on the link. I remember watching the game think "great play guys! Whoa DJ was cooking his man, though..."

Also vividly remember DJ open on a slant earlier in the game and teddy not even looking his way. It it what it is, I guess.

This is why WR3 receivers don't usually get paid much, not that I consider Moore to be a WR3.  There are just so many targets to go around.

CMC had 10, Robby had 13, Samuel 9

If Moore had more then maybe Samuel would have less and then fans would talk about him being a bust.

Maybe in a perfect world CMC and Robby have a few less and you even them out a bit more, but in reality with 4 receiving targets on any given game one of them is going to end up with just a few.

On a side note, our TE only got 2 targets, so keep that mind when people start clamoring for Pitts during draft season.  If you spend a top 10 pick on a TE you better give him some targets.

Right before he releases the ball the defender is on DJs Hip and it didn't look like he slowed down until after the play.  Plus, Samuel is the more reliable guy right now.

I wouldnt say he is "on his hip" that camera angle makes it look closer than it actually is.  Mooreis just a step ahead with really no saftey help.

Teddy puts it 40 yards down field and thats automatically 6, pending DJ cateches it

Im pretty sure Rhule/Brady consider Moore to be the number three.

so the play is designed to get samuel open, which it did. do some of you even understand that?  when the person the play is designed to get open gets open that's where the qb is supposed to go. he's not supposed to dick around and then see if others are open too.

And we all know that great quarterbacks never improvise to throw touchdowns. Not allowed! Why "dick around" and see if the safety that DJ is supposed to be running off is even there?

I wasn't even trying to get into that.

My point was that the 3rd and 4th receiving target (WRs, RBs, and TEs all included) will almost always have lower target totals.  There are just so many targets to go around in any given game.

This is something people need to keep in mind when it comes time to talk contracts and or draft picks.

Are you going to pay Moore, Samuel, and Robby?  Draft a TE really high?  At the end of the day one or two of those aren't getting many looks, especially with CMC here.
