Why is everyone so hard on Teddy?

In today's new era of NFL football you need a QB who can push and throw the ball down the field on a consistent basis and being a game manager like teddy will not work in this new modern era of NFL football! Teddy is a bridge gap and short term QB til we find out long term franchise QB! This NFL draft in 2021 is a good deep class of QB's and i really think we should pull the trigger and draft one we aren't gonna get Trevor Lawrence or a Justin Fields in the first round but maybe we could get Zach Wilson from BYU or my boy from Florida Kyle Trask in the 2nd round!

We’ve literally forced two punts in the last three games (both of which were on the final drive where the opposing team was running out the clock) and the narrative every week is about Teddy holding us back lol.

Because the defensive personnel is ass. Shrugs. Snow doesn’t have much to work with while Teddy has a poo ton to work with.

I was thinking the other day during the game, the panthers could be in a similar situation like the chiefs where they were a playoff team with Alex smith but went and got mahomes because he made them a superbowl contender. This offense is looking night and day from previous years with a more talented qb we probably win more of these games. No knock on teddy he has been good but we have great receivers and great rbs now, o line not great but not terrible either and teddy might start looking more like the handicap the further we go.

I have learned that some people spend 3x as much time putting out negativity than positivity. It’s what makes them feel good about themselves for some odd reason.

Having been a manager of a large retail chain we mostly receive negative feedback. When you have a good experience you don’t fill out surveys and give opinions. If you have an outstanding experience you will. However, if you have even one minor inconvenience you are more likely to fill out a complaint than anybody who has a great experience. People speak up when they are upset and are busy being happy when things go well to stop their down and fill something out.

Not just that... but the forced punt this week gave Teddy the ball down by one score to win the game. What happened? Most of the stops have been late in the game and turned it over to our offense. This team feels too comfortable playing from behind but they choke when the game gets close. And the QB is a big part of that.

I try to always be mindful of that.  100% true.  But when I get good service I try to let folks know.  I don't do the online stuff but I'll try to call and talk to someone in person.

* and I still don't do it nearly as much as I should.

None of us do. I worked it and had to manage all the negative and positive feedback we got and go deliver perks to the team members who did well and coach up or write up the ones that did poorly that we could verify and I still often don’t go out of my way to leave positive feedback outside of leaving tips during any shopping experience.
