Zero killer instinct for Teddy

Final drives have been the better part of the last 5 or 6 games. And you are correct, it is the last thing we see week after week so it sticks with fans. We are not, currently, a team where we trust the QB we have in the final drive.

Currently, I don’t trust some of the other guys on the defense to hold a single player to less than 150 yards receiving. Gotta take that into account.

Nah keep that same energy always . Idc about bars I’m basing it off qb play . Threw for 310yds no turnovers and 3 tds i understand the frustration with him i do . Just the wrong game afterwards to voice it . Y’all want him to be someone he never been . Ever

You expect Reggie to play the same as CMC?

Teddy’s actually been in some decent spots at the end of games.  As for as time remaining.  He isn’t tasked with miracles.   No one is expecting him to pull it off every time he has opportunity.   But there is consistency developing where his worst play of the day comes with the game on the line.

I’m fine with it frankly pending you think this team needs to go get a QB and that Teddy is its a body until then.

No i don’t . But as a running back i expect Reggie to do his Job and at least be solid . So if he show up and run for 10 yards On 18 carries ima be mad and not less mad because he not cmc. Everybody has to do their job that’s why they make the big bucks . I think is a bridge qb we really didn’t need but don’t hurt to have . I don’t expect much out of him . He actually doing way better than i thought he would . Still want a franchise qb soon . I don’t think he is it .

You gotta take chances at the end of the game like that. So the “no one was open” thing doesn’t jive. If he throws the ball up for DJ or Robby and it gets picked I have no issues as long as they have an opportunity to make a play. You have to take chances. Instead teddy checks down to Mike Davis who doesn’t even attempt to get to the sidelines.

this has been an issue that has followed him since the Vikings.

I don’t disagree. But when your QB has the ball in his hands multiple times with the game within reach and we don’t convert potential into wins... maybe he isn’t it.

People don’t want to see defenses around the NFL. They just want to pretend like we are the worst in the NFL.

Yeah, I have Red Zone and Sunday Ticket. Our defense isn't remotely the worst in the NFL. If you want to use advanced analytics, I'm sure you could find metrics that makes the Panthers worse. But, the Panthers aren't bottom 10 in any category you can find on any sports website. YPG, PPG, Passing YPG, or Rushing YPG.

However, I am exhausted of the rushing 3 thing. Unless you're playing an ass of a QB. Not Patrick Mahomes.

Everybody missing something big here on that last drive

CMC was not on the field...he is our best player, one of the best in the league...he is a difference maker

and teddy would have been going to him

hell he did go to him... when he shouldn't have... which is how CMC got injured.

Honestly the Chiefs would have given up deep middle of the field I imagine to protect the sidelines.  I'd be curious to see what the playcalls were and who was open.
