Zero killer instinct for Teddy

Who needs enemies when you have some of these Panthers "fans."

These games are actually playing out perfectly in my mind. We are proving we belong among the best even with MAJOR holes (MLB, O-Line, Secondary) yet we are still going to have a favorable draft position. This is year one of a rebuild, guys. Chill out.

Among the best lmfao.... you are what you are and 3-6 isn't Among the best....

We need a QB. Some people here seem to think Teddy is the answer moving forward. This is a legitimate question that needs addressed. We’re all very aware of the potential we have outside of the QB position. That is blatantly obvious.

Yeah we really suffer from not having a decent TE.   Thomas is just, not good.    I don't understand why we didn't have more urgency on our second to last drive either.    It was a great drive but we took way too long off the clock.

I'm trying to think positives here.   We were supposed to lose by 20 and took the champs to the wire (how did we not beat Falcons? lol).    It sucks we lost, but we weren't making playoffs anyway, so now we had a great game against the best and maybe get a higher draft pick at the same time.

The fact we were in the game with a defense that can't tackle or cover to save their lives is pretty impressive.   Donte is just terrible.  Can't tackle.   Can't cover.   I think we dropped two INTs today as well.    I seen people doing the shoulder dive all game missing tackles.    Rhule has no confidence in the defense either (multiple going for it on 4th, onside kicks, etc).    I don't think Snow is a NFL DC.   I hope Rhule doesn't keep him around cause they are buddies, at least not in that capacity.

First few weeks people complained about no deep passes and then Teddy is near the top of the league in completions deep. Then people complain that Teddy can’t score in the red zone so now we’ve debunked that consistently for the last few weeks. Final drives are just the new flavor of the month. I get it, it’s the last thing you see in a frustrating close loss, but today specifically just isn’t contextually fair.

Final drives have been the better part of the last 5 or 6 games. And you are correct, it is the last thing we see week after week so it sticks with fans. We are not, currently, a team where we trust the QB we have in the final drive.

Always blame TB for not being able to pull poo out of his ass at the last second

did it not ever occur to anyone WHY he has to pull poo out of his ass in the first place?

oline is straight garbage, no qb drafted will do any better

fix the fundamentals

Teddy has been asked to lead the offense at the end of games.   That is football.  Most games come down to some variation of it.

Teddy does fine with that garbage OL all game every week.

Teddy is what Teddy is... he’s a really good qb when you give him a lead. He rarely makes mistakes. When you ask a guy with Teddy’s skill set to bring you back from a deficit it more times than not isn’t going to happen.

I think TB is a smart QB and is a good leader for the team but he hasn’t shown he’s a clutch player in the NFL. Which is about as valuable as a trait as anything else these days.

I don’t understand how y’all so hard on teddy but y’all loved Kyle Allen to death after one game and teddy is clearly plying better than he was last year  . But ya know nevermind i know what it is

Bar is different for Teddy than it was for Kyle last year.  Allen was a 3rd string scrub off the bench.

Nah keep that same energy always . Idc about bars I’m basing it off qb play . Threw for 310yds no turnovers and 3 tds i understand the frustration with him i do . Just the wrong game afterwards to voice it . Y’all want him to be someone he never been . Ever

As long as time is not an issue, yes, he can chip away. People here are looking for a savior from the draft. One who can come in and have the IQ and one of the quickest releases on TB while also being able to pull poo out of his ass. And that just isn’t going to happen, it rarely if ever has. I don’t care whether TB stays or goes but before that choice is decided the oline has to be fixed. It is one of the worst in the NFL by all metrics and considering this dink and dunk quick release offense it could very well be the worst. And it is a fact it is on or if not worse than any oline the Panthers have fielded since 2010, again by all metrics.

Considering the last 10+ years of super bowl contender,  you have to have a top oline to go anywhere in the playoffs, this is first a foremost the biggest issue with he offense.

The problem with lumping people in is that I’m hard on Teddy but I also did not love Kyle Allen. I knew he wasn’t the answer and I wanted them to just throw Grier out there. He would take his lumps and we would see what he is and know we need a QB going into the draft and likely would be in top position for one. Teddy is good enough to beat bad teams. We have the talent on offense to kill people. I didn’t want Kyle Allen and I don’t want Teddy.
My hope is Teddy shows some other team enough that we can package him and our first to move up for Justin Fields.
