Zero killer instinct for Teddy

I get it if we are talking prior weeks. I get the frustration week in and week out having the opportunity to win on the last drive. But there is hierarchy to my frustration. There’s about 8-9 things I can think of that take precedence over anything Teddy did or failed to do on that last drive.

Yep.  I hear you.  I mean, we just went toe to toe with the SB champs with the best QB in the league.

I don't know what it is, but it's like we're a really well disciplined, fun, and easy to root for team, but, just don't have the "it" factor collectively.  No real grit & fierceness minus maybe Chinn, Burns, & Robby.  We're missing intangibles, an edge, and dare I say toughness.  We have mental fortitude and are super good dudes but we need some f*cking edge.

I'm seeking a new franchise QB and that on the OL & LB crew this coming offseason.

He doesn’t deserve blame for this loss. He deserves blame for never finishing final drives. He’s still not scoring at a pace I would like but he’s improving week to week on just about everything other than the most clutch part of the game. He’s been impressing from from the first snap typically to late in the fourth and then he hits the clutch wall.

The loss isn’t on him but people grow tired of the get close enough, defense gets a turnover or stop to give us the ball and then Teddy and the offense can’t finish.

First few weeks people complained about no deep passes and then Teddy is near the top of the league in completions deep. Then people complain that Teddy can’t score in the red zone so now we’ve debunked that consistently for the last few weeks. Final drives are just the new flavor of the month. I get it, it’s the last thing you see in a frustrating close loss, but today specifically just isn’t contextually fair.

As one of his biggest critics so far this season, this one wasn't all on him.  He could've and should've done more, if you believe he's a franchise QB, but he's not...  so, he did ok.  But, that was really on the refs and Mike Davis being a dumbass two consecutive plays and not even attempting to go out of bounds.  That cost us 30+ secs and throw in that 10 yard penalty, and the drive was effectively over.  Not a fan of Teddy's last throw to DJ either, but again, if Davis goes out of bounds on one of those plays, we're not in that position.  Davis completely blew it.

Last week almost everyone predicted a blow out  and again we were like 10 yards from a W, and you guys still mad?

Point is though that even if this situation was improbable, his offense still didn't get it done and there are points (earlier in the game and perhaps in that last drive) where the failures sure appeared to be solely on him. Team had a shot and once again fell short.

Again though, I temper this slightly by giving him kudos for showing some overall guts that has been seemingly been lacking. Teddy, if not him then his limitations, was a reason for the loss but unlike other weeks was a small reason and he also had some 'plus' plays.

I’ll put a ton of this on donte....and we barely touched mahomes all day

Honestly shocked no one has mentioned Donte. If it weren’t for the occasionally flashy interception he’d just be Boston with track shoes. He was uber bad today.

I honestly think we are a couple pieces on defense and a LT away from being a deep SB team as is. That’s mighty encouraging for a rebuilding year. These close losses suck but if you’re into the whole “moral victory” thing then things are sincerely looking up!

One TO yes, that’s fine but two no.

Ok and when target 1, 2 and 3 are covered? You check it down and hope that Davis knows to get out of bounds OR you toss it over his head (which is what I would’ve preferred).

Teddy tossed it almost instantly his clock is way too quick, works wonders the first three quarters but you can’t just check down in 4 seconds on the last drive when you need to get down field. And he did the time out thing 3 times. You pointing out Mike Davis not knowing where to line up didn’t cost a time out. Teddy does some things well but so far the end of game stuff looks rough at best

Always blame TB for not being able to pull poo out of his ass at the last second

did it not ever occur to anyone WHY he has to pull poo out of his ass in the first place?

oline is straight garbage, no qb drafted will do any better

fix the fundamentals
