Zero killer instinct for Teddy

Recommended Posts

in those situations you need piss missiles outside the numbers and that doesn't seem to be teddy's bread and butter. i'm sure the chiefs tried to take those away but if you're a franchise qb you find a way to make those plays.

ditto that duck with :05 to go. incredible play call, but no idea why you float that one instead of ripping something through a window on the sideline

First dump of to Davis OK. Second dump off I would’ve preferred him to just toss it over Davis’ head BUT Davis was also the one who cut back inside when he shouldn’t have

We ignoring that Davis was just the safety blanket and shouldn’t have been target 1, 2 or 3. You’re the same one who defended him wasting 16 seconds at the line and wasting a time out on the first drive.

I'm frustrated about those things as well.  Frustrating how close were are to being something pretty cool but just not notching the wins yet.  It goes all around, but, yes, Teddy frustrated me here.

I get it if we are talking prior weeks. I get the frustration week in and week out having the opportunity to win on the last drive. But there is hierarchy to my frustration. There’s about 8-9 things I can think of that take precedence over anything Teddy did or failed to do on that last drive.

Seriously.

That run should tell you everything you need to know about Teddy. Left his feet head first in the middle of the field... nothing more needs to be said

David Carr in 2007 did the same thing for Carolina.

Throwing an INT or taking a sack makes sense to bitch but I don’t see where the primary blame falls on him on that last drive.

He doesn’t deserve blame for this loss. He deserves blame for never finishing final drives. He’s still not scoring at a pace I would like but he’s improving week to week on just about everything other than the most clutch part of the game. He’s been impressing from from the first snap typically to late in the fourth and then he hits the clutch wall.

The loss isn’t on him but people grow tired of the get close enough, defense gets a turnover or stop to give us the ball and then Teddy and the offense can’t finish.

One TO yes, that’s fine but two no.

Ok and when target 1, 2 and 3 are covered? You check it down and hope that Davis knows to get out of bounds OR you toss it over his head (which is what I would’ve preferred).

Some of you idiots really need to just go turn on the Patriots and leave the Panthers be.  You’ll be even more disappointed, but for all sakes do it.  So Teddy had no killer instinct when he dove for a first on a 4th and 14 with no protection?  Idiots.
