Today the Panthers are big underdogs as they travel to KC and face the Superbowl champs.

 

The Chiefs are the class of the nfl. Will be interesting to see how our young team stacks up.

Played golf with a guy from KC yesterday. Says the Panthers scare him and thinks the game will be close. Says this is just the kind of game the Chiefs randomly play down to their competition for. Interesting take.

I’m expecting us to be competitive. We’ve been competitive all year. We’re also coming off a mini bye, getting a little bit healthier. 
 

I could see us having tough for three quarters and then the chiefs pulling away late.

The idea of Mahomes abusing Boston a few times today prevents any inclination we can keep this uber-competitive.

TRAP GAME for KC?

In a weird way, it could be.  Let me explain why I think so.  The Chiefs have to feel pretty confident right now, and they have a bye after this game. at 7-1, they are probably not shaking much when they see the Panthers roll in at 3-5.  Following the bye, they have the One-armed bandits from Vegas and Brady's Bucs--a rivalry and a potential Super Bowl preview. 

The election featured more interest from players than in past elections, with kneeling and BLM and other social justice issues on the line---it is possible that this has been a distraction.

So we have a perfect storm that may be the recipe for an upset.

Seasons are long, players are goofy kids, and distractions are human nature.  I think we might sneak attack em!
