Do the Panthers have a prayer on Sunday?

Is there a chance?  Of course. Is it likely? No.

They have the 27th ranked run defense.  Ball control offense is our best friend against them, keep their offense of the field.  We have to convert on 3rd and score TDs in the red zone.

I really doubt we win, but I don't think it will be the blowout many think it will be

Carolina 20

KC 27

Chinn is out, probably. So yeah, like usual it will be way worse than you think it will be.

Yes we're going to beat the Chiefs.

(At some point in franchise history.)

Carolina shut them out 34-0 in 2008 and won 28-17 in 2004.

That 2008 game also gave us this classic:

Sure, we could win. Amazing work from our offensive and defensive lines at a level unseen here for a couple of years. Massive running game from the Panthers that eats up the clock, keeps Mahomes on the bench and converts big time in the red zone. A miracle pair of turnovers in our favor and some penalties that fall our way. All of that AND we catch the Chiefs looking ahead of us... then we might have a shot.

I don't like the looks of it, though. I do think we'll post a result that makes people still think of us as the plucky little team that will be tough.

Not sure there is any amount of coaching that can make up the star player gap between the teams, though.
