None of us have a clue what PJ is or isn't.

I don't think he is Warren Moon.   But he could of been a better option after Teddy got his brain scrambled last night.

We do know what he is. He is a player who wasn't in the league until his college coach brought him in.

I don't know one way or the other whether Walker has IT.  But I honestly don't think we are going to be in the playoffs this season.  Though we have many promising players I just don't see it.  Over the years I have been one of the most optimistic members of this forum but I also see the reality of this season.  We're talented but not talented enough to be a playoff team.

That said,  Walker and Grier should be given the opportunity to start a game or two.

Though Walker only had one completion I could see a major difference on the zip of his ball.  We also had a couple of good runs while he was in.  It seemed to me that he had more of an up tempo offense when he was in.  I would love to see him get a shot.  Win or lose, good or bad I believe we should give him a look.

he couldn't hit basic throws. he looked like an arena quarterback.

They weren't pretty, I agree.  I would give a bit to nerves.

I'm not saying he is the answer but this season needs to be about evaluating the entire roster.  If he (or Grier) doesn't have it than we need to find someone who can back up TB.   God forbid next season we are actually competing and looking to a possible playoff birth only to lose it because TB goes down and our backups don't perform.

Other than the ground ball he threw on the run, his passes were better than Teddy’s. That first throw was pretty good, Robby just got pushed off the route.  I definitely wanted to see what Walker had for the rest of the game.  Especially since the few throws we saw looked pretty solid. Again, good throws can result in incompletions and bad throws can be caught. Stats lie.

Walker came in cold in a wet and rainy game.....and had one bad pass.  That is the story on Walker from last night.

and he must be impressing folks in practice.  They clearly added a Walker package to get him on the field.    That's why he was out early playing WR.    Never got to his play but I'm sure it was trick play deep ball.    His first throw was great in the endzone.

again, I'm not advocating to bench Teddy.  But that was a perfect scenario to see what your backup really has instead of putting  brain rattled Teddy back on the field.

Yep. To be clear, I HIGHLY doubt Walker is the answer but I didn't like putting Teddy back out there after that hit. With the beating he's taking and the choke job throws he's making in crunch time, he's gonna be shell shocked soon if he isn't already.

In fairness, I don't think we have a shot to tie at the end with Walker.
