They were 10-6 last year & had 2-playoff games, winning 1...

...and the Panthers were 5-11...

...and they were ranked in the top-half of the league going into the 2020 season in terms of total roster and expected to make the playoffs again...

...and Panthers were bottom decile and expected to go 1-15...

...and you're saying DeShaun has done better compiling a 2-7 record vs. Teddy with a 3-6 record?

Sure seems like that's what you're saying...

Who ranked them in the top half of the league as a total roster? And was this before our after the GM/coach decided to trade away one of the best wide receivers in football for a beat up running back who lost his job on his previous team? Either way, Watson has outplayed Teddy this year as well.

Is Teddy the future? Most likely not. Will we have teddy around for a few more years? Most likely so. Brady really likes him so I'm hard pressed to see us going for a QB before we fix the OL and Secondary.

I feel the same way, it would be pointless to do so. Unless one of the top 2 QBs are sitting there when we pick, just roll with Teddy

teddy is our forever quarterback, even though you can get 2 mahomes for the price of 1 at walmart.    i think sheeple need to wake up.  people need to keep saying in every thread that teddy isn't the best qb in the world, and saying what they don't like about him over and over and over and over.  just repeating the same thing over and over and over.   its totally working.  any minute now tepper is gonna chime in and let y'all know you've convinced him and he's leaving for walmart right now.

It's criminal what O'Brien did to that roster. That Hopkins trade is one of the worst in recent memory. You traded arguably the best WR in football for an aging RB with a big contract and years removed from elite production. Just absurd.

Brady isn't going to be here for a few more years. He might not be here next year. If he goes, let him take Teddy with him (via trade).

If this is an honest statement on your part then you must watch an alternate version of the NFL. Again, Teddy is an awesome guy but has put nothing more than average film out since he came into the league and at no point has his best looked anything close to Watson's best. Teddy manages games, Watson can dictate them.

I also don't think you mean 'ambivalent'. Indifferent perhaps?

You are correct....I did mean indifferent.

As for dictating games, Houston wouldn't be 2-7 if Watson had the ability to do so.

Stop whining.

Watson's record is 2-7...

...Teddy's is better.

Who is whining? Watson is better than Teddy.

How do you figure?

Look DeShaun is a quality guy no doubt, but his squad made playoffs last season and won a game...

...Teddy inherited a dumpster fire with an unproven college coach that was expected to go 1-15 if not 0-16 .

Teddy = 3-6.  DeShaun = 2-7.
