The Texans have scored 193 points and are 2-7.

What's your take on DeShaun Watson?

His weapons suck. They traded away his best WR. We have a far better receiving core than him. Will Fuller is explosive for the 20 snaps a game he can take before injuries.

Read up a few posts.

Another poster was trying to make the case that Kyle Allen is as good as Teddy based on points scored.

Did I make the case Kyle Allen was as good as Teddy? I was pointing out that our offense hasn’t taken off under Teddy. There are people crowning Teddy a franchise QB after 9 games when in hindsight our offense has produced at a very similar clip to Kyle Allen’s first nine starts.

Doesn't matter, the QB should be able to win games on is own...  (according to some)

Teddy Bridgewater or Watson with 2 minutes to go and your team is down 3. Who you picking? If we had him at QB we wouldn’t only have 3 wins.

They were 10-6 last year & had 2-playoff games, winning 1...

...and the Panthers were 5-11...

...and they were ranked in the top-half of the league going into the 2020 season in terms of total roster and expected to make the playoffs again...

...and Panthers were bottom decile and expected to go 1-15...

...and you're saying DeShaun has done better compiling a 2-7 record vs. Teddy with a 3-6 record?

Sure seems like that's what you're saying...

Frankly, I'm ambivalent.

I like 'em both -- see them as equals.

If this is an honest statement on your part then you must watch an alternate version of the NFL. Again, Teddy is an awesome guy but has put nothing more than average film out since he came into the league and at no point has his best looked anything close to Watson's best. Teddy manages games, Watson can dictate them.

I also don't think you mean 'ambivalent'. Indifferent perhaps?

Yeah... they aren’t equals. Teddy has never thrown for even 15 touchdowns in a single season. Watsons worst year is better than that. Watson is a two time pro bowler. Watson has played 3 playoff games and scored 6 touchdowns. Teddy has played 1 playoff game, didn’t hit 200 yards and scored 0 touchdowns. Watson is far superior. If they made the same money every single GM in football would take Watson over Teddy.
