He is very efficient but situationally stagnant. He freezes for the microcosm of a second where he needs to have the juice flowing.

I've been saying it though.  That completion pct don't mean poo bc its what the defense is fuging giving him.  It's what separates the greats from the averages and not very goods, is that they manipulate the defense and get more out of every play...  an elite QB takes the throws into tighter windows downfield instead of dumping it off every fuging play for 3 yards because they let you. Teddy's fine with just dumping it down and putting the onus on other guys to make the play.  Like Aikman said, they were even clamping up tight on the guys because they don't believe teddy will throw it deep, and he wouldn't.  And they weren't bracketing DJ, and yet, Teddy couldn't even get him the ball until what?  The 4th qtr?

Completion % is one of the most worthless stats in football and people that point to it are either ignorant, lazy or being intentionally misleading for clicks

i've been tough on him but i will say this

IF

IF there is no one better available in free agency or the draft in the offseason, go all in on the offensive line and see what you can do to add a player at each level of the defense. maybe he's good enough to win when he's got a year in the system and isn't getting clobbered every play. this o-line has gone straight to hell.

The ideal scenario for me is we get Lance or some other good prospect in the draft. And he sits for a year or two while we build up this line and let Teddy start next year and see how it goes.

That last throw had nothing to do with the line.  He evaded pressure, as many QBs are forced to on any given play, and then threw up a fuging punt.  And if you go back and look, Robby came wide open underneath right as he threw it.  poo is old man...  he's done it 3-4 times now.

Atlanta just came to our house and ate our dinner and shitted on the living room floor.

The completion earlier in the drive was a good play at a key time but total flashback to Jake just winging it out there for Smitty to jump up and get.

Did you watch the game?

He had a perfect t rating in the first half before the protection dissolved like a cracker in hot soup.

I swear this forum is blind.

We all watched the same game, you seem to want to give this QB a pass when he couldnt do it himself at the end.

weird.

there has been the same lack of urgency to fix the situation. Its not a shitty player that makes the oline shitty, but the acceptance of keeping the shittiness going.

Agreed. But its not the same line. Teddy did with a poo line performance what cam did with a poo line. Which is get beat up. Cam did nothing since 2015 when the line was ok
