Teddy experiment needs to be over

I was hoping to see more of walker. Two of his three passes looked better than anything teddy has thrown. Bridgewater is the kind of QB that can look good against bad teams when things are clicking but melts in the face of adversity. Plus inability to get the ball where it needs to be in a hurry, there’s just no reason to keep pinning any hopes on him. Even that flea flicker was such a duck the defender almost had time to come back to knock it down. I’d rather see what walker has and lose games if need be, but we need something different.

Oh absolutely. However, that last play was a huge head-scratcher and entirely on him.

The whole last drive was on Teddy tho. Made a big play, but burnt a TO to stop a delay of game, checked it down on a free play(final straw for me) and that pick was into triple coverage

For a team in dire need of a rebuild signing Bridgewater was the worst of all worlds. He is good enough to win a few games but IS NOT nor has he ever been a “franchise QB”. Those wins will likely cost us a shot at a potential franchise QB. We missed on a franchise QB last year by one pick. More of same will likely be in store in the upcoming draft.

You can win by losing and you can lose by winning in the NFL. If you are going to lose then lose big because that may lead you to your pick of available QBS, which is by far the most important position in all of sports.

The best thing that could happen would be for the a Panthers to lose their remaining games. That is highly unlikely.

This was all imminently predictable.

His deficiencies are showing. perhaps the most concerning part is decision making. He misses DJ when he's open and forces it into coverage when he's not open.

That was a lot to do with scheme on the last drive too. I mean you got 12 way out there, 11 two yards from the line of scrimmage. Nothing in between.

I mean fug they had their safeties playing 8 yards off the line.

But no one gave Cam slack for the shitty OL.  I dont wanna hear that.  If they're sending 6 every fuging play, somebody is fuging open, and yet Teddy can't get it there...  or they force Teddy out to run, and he can't do that either.  poo is painful to watch.

But yes, Reed and Paradis need to sit on the fuging bench til the end of the year and then get them the fug out of here.

It's almost like he can't read where the blitz or the pressure is coming from.

We are trading up or Fields or Wilson. That is it and I love them both. Wouldn’t be mad with Trask but he does have his questions marks.

The only two without question marks to me are Lawrence and Fields. You tell me Carolina gets either one of them and I’m not going to question it. The next of the lot between Lance, Trask, Wilson and Newman and I can come up with a handful of things on each that are major concerns.

i've been tough on him but i will say this

IF

IF there is no one better available in free agency or the draft in the offseason, go all in on the offensive line and see what you can do to add a player at each level of the defense. maybe he's good enough to win when he's got a year in the system and isn't getting clobbered every play. this o-line has gone straight to hell.

Lol what?  We've had way worse OLs under Cam.

See 2014 Philly game.

After this game I assume the oline will drop down to the bottom third. Cam has had one year where the oline was worse. Also consider the scheme because they play a huge role in oline rankings (see Brees and Brady). Cam was in a scheme to stretch the field and long developing plays. He was also an extremely mobile QB. A TON was asked of his oline.

TB on the other hand is quick release, not near as mobile and had a scheme designed for very simple, easy blocks from the oline.

Considering those factors, this oline is indeed quite close to Cam’s worst one year and certainly on par, if not worse, for every other of the oline.

Fact remains, the FO has failed to effectively address the oline since gross and r Kalil retired, no matter who the qb is. They continue to patch it think they’ll be ok and make idiotic moves that set back the franchise and rattle whoever is our QB.

This is the second time he’s not made the read to a beyond open DJ for easy yards/points in like three weeks.

They need to do that anyway, even with getting a QB.

Newman does not belong in that group.

Trask and Wilson are booming and will no doubt be carefully scouted.
