Hurney and Rhule got conned hard by Payton, good grief.

When an entirely average QB like Bridgewater is on the market, who will never, ever lead a game winning drive, you HAVE to sign him to a three year deal

I mean the deal really isn’t that bad at all. It was worth a shot to see what he could do. He’s the ideal guy to be a mentor and bridge QB for a young rookie and is an amazing locker room guy. Knows the game well, just doesn’t have the talent to be a great QB on the field. I’m fine paying Teddy $20M next year to mentor Lance or someone else for a year. Then we can cut/trade him after 2 years easily.

Would rather see a real investment in the OL before reaching for a QB this year. Face it, we’re going 6-10, Tepper needs his Panther themed amusement park for RH and can’t afford to put out a tanking product.

unfortunately for us that 6-10 effectively bumps us out of range for a possible franchise cornerstone in the draft

Teddy is most likely going nowhere next year. It may be a perfect time to grab a guy and let him sit, building OL in the process.

Sorry I can't blame it 100% on TB.  That's probably the worst offensive line I've seen even before Newton got here.  Its insane how bad they've been playing the last 3 games.

Lol what?  We've had way worse OLs under Cam.

See 2014 Philly game.

Teddy was playing behind like 3 first round OL in New Orleans.

I just feel as though it’s more to do with blocking, I really respect Teddy for coming back in after a bad hit, it showed how tough and poised he is. Conversely I see the o-line as in desperate need of help, if we do that DJ and all our other talent can shine like I know they can. All that being said good game to our opponent, they put pressure on us all night and made a play when they had to, still it was a good effort by some of our young players. I just hope Burns is ok, he has quickly become a true pass rush monster, and a personal favorite of mine.

It was already said here. If we have a shot at a franchise QB we pull that trigger. Not sure we have a chance this year. I sure as hell don't want to take the best available at QB. Either it's the guy or it's a guy.

Teddy is who he always has been. He is better than PJ and behind that Oline I wouldn't expect much from anyone but yeah he isn't the long term answer.
