Teddy experiment needs to be over

Because that is all he is.

Teddy isn't good.  When the pressure is on, Teddy can't get it down.

He can't throw in tight windows.  He can't make a play happen out of nowhere.  He's not that guy.  He doesn't have any desirable, elite traits.  He's accurate, but not that accurate.  His arm is BLEH.  His decision making is BLEH.  His pocket presence is his best trait, but doesn't matter when you can't dominate in the air.

Teddy is average as hell on his best day, and benefits from a great system and great WR duo.

And that's okay.  I didn't have high expectations for him.  But every week, we are told that Teddy is this great QB on here... but he isn't.  Dude has failed every game winning drive we've asked of him.

Just now, Jeremy Igo said:

You saw PJ right?

Teddy stock.is dropping. No better option on the roster.

Loved his arm but man, even on those few plays did he look raw. Weather and situation didn't help him but no question that Teddy offers more consistency at this point.

He's just not good enough to lead a team down the field for a comeback.    The o-line is terrible too though but he makes poor decisions when it matters.    He's the best we have and because we keep winning meaningless games probably the best option next year.

Sorry guys, I really do like Teddy, but he will never be more than an average quarterback at best. We need to draft the future QB this year. That’s two game losing picks now, and a complete face plant against the Bucs in a winnable game. Can keep him around another year in case we want to be patient with the rookie, but it has been made clear that Teddy has no future here. Great, great guy. Not a great QB

Dude was tough enough to come back in the game after that devastating hit

Yeah I'll give him a pass today

Would rather see a real investment in the OL before reaching for a QB this year. Face it, we’re going 6-10, Tepper needs his Panther themed amusement park for RH and can’t afford to put out a tanking product.

unfortunately for us that 6-10 effectively bumps us out of range for a possible franchise cornerstone in the draft
