I hate Thursday night games.

Man, the last 4 Thursday night games have been CRUEL to the Panthers.

2016 - Panthers beat the Saints, but it is the infamous “Luke Kuechly crying after a concussion” game. Awful moment for the franchise and the NFL at large.

2017 - Panthers lose a close game to the eventual super bowl champion Eagles, and this happened in the stands. 

2018 - The Panthers get violently raped by the Steelers. TJ Watt blasts Cam’s throwing shoulder and the Panthers spiral into the toilet after a 6-2 start to the season. 

2019 - Cam’s last game as a Panther against the Bucs. What a miserable game. McCaffrey gets stuffed at the goal line on a play that would have been in a healthy Cam’s hands.

If there's one thing that every NFL fan regardless of favorite team can agree on, it's that Thursday night games suck.

It's like every time we play on Thursday night something awful happens. I really hope that was just a Rivera-era curse and not a permanent one. May Jerome, Falcons lifelong, bless us.

Damn, yeah all of these games sucked ass and I remember them vividly.  I’m leaving my horrible job though and tomorrow is my last day, so maybe that good juju will propel the squad to a dominating win.  I’d love to see Burns tell Matt Ryan to get the fug off our field.  I’m wearing my Stewart jersey and hoping Mike Davis can use that #28 energy

Probably doing the same, I doubt this game has much worth staying up late for, at least for Panthers fans

Guess I’m in the minority. I love Thursday and Monday night games. I love football in general and just can’t go an entire week with nothing. Plus announcers are better.

I will say the one nice thing is having a top production crew actually showing the penalties and changing the replay angles.

And yet, they keep watching them, providing the NFL with good enough ratings to justify having them.  Not saying I disagree with you.
