Trade options based on tonights game...

I wouldn't be mad with any deal for Quinnen Williams, Ertz, or Gilmore so long as it doesn't cost a 1st rounder.

EDIT: but the more I think about it, I'm really starting to think Rhule wouldn't approve a trade bc he wants to know how invested guys are and if they're a fit before they get here.  He's got a very specific idea in mind of the players he wants on the roster...  so unless someone he trusts on the staff has familiarity, I doubt we make a move.

The only way I'm making a trade is for a young player who we view as part of our core roster moving forward. Y'all need to stop thinking about putting bandaids on this season. Tepper and Rhule told y'all when he was hired they weren't looking for quick fixes. They're trying to build a team for the long haul. This isn't a coach on the hot seat trying to get to 8-8 to save his neck for another year

If we lose tonight the playoff hopes are gone and the focus should be playing all the young guys and seeing who develops and will be around next season.

Even with a win the playoff hopes are slim so unless a good young player can be had for a very late draft pick, I don’t think it’s worth it either way.

A lot of people here forget that we have a very messy cap sheet with the most dead money in the NFL.

50(!) million in players not on the team anymore. 19 in Kawaan Short on IR. Thats 33% of the cap gone on players not on the team.

That 33% is 2-3 high level starters and 2-3 good backups. We aren't supposed to be competitive this year but we are anyway. That's a testament to how well we are coached.

Depends on who the trade is for, if we got Quinnen Williams for a 3rd it would be worth it, we get better in the interim, and he still has two years and a 5th yr option. That is a good move for us especially with the cap savings moving on from KK provides.

Need to get it out of your head that that is possible. Williams' value is more than a 1st round pick right now, and they won't just give him away for nothing. He's like one of their only players that they should keep through the rebuild.
