It looked like a read option to me.  I'd have to go back and look, but it looks like he pulled the ball back out from Davis and decided to run it himself.

See, even if that's the case, it's a huge stretch to say he made that decision because he's trying to be a hero.

There's not enough time for that kind of thought process when you have to make a split second decision.

He’s been admirable and tough as nails but he’s not anywhere near as good as CMC. You could see it with Bonnafon and Samuel, how much quicker they look.

you're crazy, dude.  i feel like some Panthers fans have gotten so used to watching Cam they think it is easy for a QB to outrun a good LB, lol

Partially, sure. But I’ve seen plenty of other QBs make one dude miss all the time. You don’t have to juke them out of their shoes. Just enough that you can take the contact and fall forward.

Well, even if you take that subjective statement away from the equation, it was just the wrong decision.  I know those are split second choices, but it was very clearly the wrong one...  it looked like Davis wouldn't have even been touched before he got to the line to gain.

TBH, both Teddy and Brady's decision-making in important situations has been absolutely atrocious this season.  If Brady isn't making a bad call, Teddy has been making a bad decision instead.
