Burns prevented a sure fire touchdown

Safety is a HUGE priority this offseason, either by FA or draft. I am so fuggin sick of seeing Boston get Mossed, miss assignment, or his lame attempt at a shoe tackle. Him and Whitehead could literally get cut today and this whole fanbase would have no qualms about it. That's how fuggin bad they are.

wtf is Boston doing...I don't know why he felt the need to go help Jackson, Brees wasn't even looking that way.

Have you seen Jackson play? He always needs some help. And where Brees is looking doesn't matter until his arm starts moving forward.

Burns saved that one for sure, but not only had Boston lost his man, but Jackson was beat for the back of the end zone and that curl route at the top of the screen was ready to pick up at least 10 yards as well.

Without the sack, Brees could hit all three of the open targets with ease. We got lucky.

Burns is a monster. I have no idea what the coaches see in Boston to keep on this roster. That's quite possibly one of the worst reads I've ever seen in a Panthers uniform.

Gotta defend Boston here, I guess. Boston is in on more tackles and is the first guy in more than anyone besides Jeremy Chinn right now. He's playing safety and doing what he is supposed to in this defensive set up (and with the relatively inexperienced group of DBs around him). Is he the best in the game at it? Nah, nope, nuh uhn. Is he the best we have at it? Yeah, definitely.

That's the part that scares me.

There was no reason for him to continue to play his man with Burns crashing down on Brees. So he cut off his coverage in case Brees broke free or hit an outlet.

That'd be a mistake though. If Brees escapes that sack, then he's got wide open options.

A lot of big plays happen because somebody breaks off coverage.
