Probably because of their owner

Less than a handful of owners are willing to allow Reid through the door...

...why would he take issue with one who will?

Foolish decision not to sign, he had a clear path to getting back onto the field and let his ego get in the way.  Will be lucky if his phone rings again.

This. We took a shot on two former busts and so far it looks like we're batting .500. Not bad on former busts.

It's crazy how good Rasul has been for us... like, I didn't think he would be bad, but dude looks like he could be a long-term #1 CB.  Worst-case scenario #2, as I'd still like for us to get a dominant, play-making CB.

I like Donte more than most people on this forum, but he is admittedly inconsistent.  At least he makes those splash plays though.

I wouldn’t say Pride has been great...far from it

Factor in everything. I mean how many 4th rounders in Panthers history played their first year? How many current/recent NFL 4th rounders played in year one? During a season with no pre-season games, no OTAs, no rookie camp, and weird TC. Hes not playing at pro-bowl level, but hes not embarrassing himself either. Teams are also not throwing at Djackson(check out the saints game again), so hes getting tested constantly.
