Both shouldn't be leaders at all. I'm an Oklahoma fan, and OU has the same issue with Patrick Fields in their secondary. Guy is awful, and was voted a Captain. The DC continues to play him, because he's the "QB" of the defense. Beyond moronic.

Mine is ESPN.com.  Yeah it's a little unclear how ESPN considers a TFL...not sure why they have it under the "Sacks" section, but for example Yetur Gross-Matos is recorded as having 1 sack but 0 TFL so it doesn't appear that they're mixing/overlapping the two.

I can't attest to whether ESPN is 100% accurate (probably not) but your source is definitely flawed if they say Brown and Haynes are the only two with TFLs this year, there's no way that's true.  Here is one play that comes to mind of a Burns TFL.
