Panthers Losses: Opponents are 17-8, none below .500

Is it bad to say that I want the panthers to loose this year? I mean I would love to see them compete and have close games but I don’t want them to win. We are over achieving and honestly we don’t have the talent to win a Super Bowl so what’s the purpose of winning this year? Let’s let the young guys play and get experience, get some top draft picks and rebuild so we can actually make the playoffs and have a shot at winning.

This was, regardless of what players and coaches say, a rebuilding year.  New coaches, new QB,  new MLB, new RG, etc.Huge cap, etc.  So if you look at the schedule, we could win 7-8 games at best. That is awesome.  Bridgewater is solid, and based on Cam's season, we did the right thing. (Pause for the nuthuggers to hit the poo emoji).  We are playing without CMC, YGM, KK, any TE to speak of, a poor OL (Marty Hurney's trademark), a porous secondary, suck ass LBs, etc.

We are still in this.

Rhule is going to find marginal players and get the most out of them.  that is what he does.  So instead of worrying about "what might have been" in 2020, I am pumped about the potential I see ahead. Really am.  We need OL, DBs, TE, and S.  One off season with a good GM can get us to the top.  Teddy playing well was a huge plus.  the window is opening.

A few weeks ago, I pegged us as a team that could beat bad teams but probably wouldn't beat good ones.

So far that still looks true. I think the Cardinals are the only team we've beaten that has a winning record but I don't honestly think they're truly that good.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
