All of you were right about Cam

Cam naturally favors the middle or left side of the field, there’s no correlation with him not throwing to the right side of the field because of shoulder issues, in 2017 his passing chart looks similar to 2018 and now, with the occasional anomaly game in the middle.

his shoulder didn’t look shot, cut the narrative that his bad game was due to health issue with his shoulder, majority was decision making and inept wr play. You see the same results when a “healthy” stid steps in, and this is someone who knows the offense already too.

ne just sucks and teams have caught on to it, they can’t stop the run, and they don’t have a wr that can keep teams from loading the box, playing zero cover. If ne gets caught in 3rd and long the last two weeks teams have sent the house.

if you actually watch ne this season, you would know that, if you watched ne vs Chief than you wouldn’t be clamoring about cam being done and moreso saying the pats are done.

props to @AceBoogie for being a real one. I did see him in 2015 form against the Seahawks, did he truly fall off a cliff since??? I didnt see him play in the last two weeks and know his stats looks terrible for those two.

The Seahawks have a bottom four defense. For anyone that watched some of the NE game it was clear..

I watched the game last week and said he looked done.  I watched the game this week and it confirmed my opinion.  When he tries to let it fly it just goes sailing, when he tries to do short and midrange he has a weird little hitch where he is not opening up his shoulder.  Go watch the highlights.

Do you have the charts from 2017 and 2018 that confirm your statement?  Because I dont remember cam ever favoring one side of the field over another, he would just let it loose

I, Aceboogie, the last member of the Cam Newton bandwagon reluctantly exit the wagon today. He’s done and we ruined him. Kudos to the Panthers for getting it right and not compounding the issue. He could have been one of the greats but ran into Marty, Ron, and Dave. The three men who did what many defenses couldn’t.

I now have a lot more optimism for this franchise going forward. Even with the loss today, our outlook is good and it started with moving on from Cam.

I know you were loyal to him and he did so much for the franchise and city.  Cam was ruined by Ron Rivera.  Period.  Full stop.  Signing him would have been catastrophic.  And to your credit, the league knew more than we did.  BB rolled the dice, and it was worth a shot.

Hats off to you.

Did you see his face on the sideline?  It was almost as if he was a child and BB whispered, "There is no Santa" into his ear.  I know the feeling he had.  I remember when I was told (during Spring Practice) to go see the doctor in the field house.   I was stunned, taking off my pads at my locker for the last time, and I knew I would never put them on again.  A member of the team (who had also met with the doctor) was the only other person in the locker room. (Clyde Simmons--Philly Eagles all-pro DE a few years later) already knew. He may have overheard.  He put his hand on my shoulder as he was walking out to practice.   It is something that every athlete faces--and I saw that look in Cam's face.  Maybe he will rise above it and give us another year or two, but I doubt it will happen in NE.

Yea they dont look good, still a NFL defensive and he did play great. I cannt speak on recent games, but I keep seeing "shoulder" comments. Some players have rotten luck about never over-coming injuries, Cam its seems one of them. Plus the Pats simply dont have talent around him at skilled spots. OL been hit with injuries too, hes not the same QB if he doesnt run either.

I don't need to write a novel to get my point across.

It's not about the length of your response but the content. "Just calling it like (you) see it" rather than trying to discuss it constructively and try to see his point/try to get him to see your point without namecalling/labelling, is lazy and unproductive.

I'm a black man and Cam has disappointed me. Because he didn't live up to his potential. Race has nothing to do with this.He is horrible as a Quarterback in the NFL right now.

Same here bro. Had more physical gifts than any Qb probably that's ever came into the league, and he maximized his physical gifts.

But felt he never fine tuned the details of the game, mechanics, footwork, reading defenses. That made lesser talented players like Russell Wilson surpassed him as a player.

Will always be one of my favorite players but I was glad the Panthers were moving on after last season.

You do remember he had surgery on his shoulder after the 2016 season and if you watched the 2017 his arm was not right then.  So saying 2017 & 2018 charts are the same is like saying "yeah he was hurt both those years".  If you want to find a healthy Cam you have to go back to 2016 and see what he looked like before he hurt it against the Chargers.

It 2018 he definitely strongly favored the left/middle that fact is counterproductive for his argument though seeing as he couldn't throw a football 20 yards at the time because of his shoulder.
