All of you were right about Cam

Agreed fug Ron and Shula for wrecking his career, but beyond all of them, the worst offender of all was the fat tub of poo Kelvin Benjamin.  Had that waste of a roster spot not given up on an interception in 2016, Cam would likely still be fine, instead he chased down KB's man to make a tackle and fuged up his shoulder doing so.  That was the beginning of the end for him and it's thanks to a lard gobbling waste of sperm.

You can add Kelvin Benjamin to that list by not fighting for that pass that resulted in an INT, that Cam had to make a tackle and screwing up his shoulder.

Man, it’s still amazing on that play that people want to blame KB. There was a ref right there and it was so obvious that KB touched the DB. Remember it got reviewed and taken all the way back. Should have been whistled dead on the spot. Brees’ fumble was whistled dead because the refs were so sure he scored even though he got it by an inch that they stopped the play immediately. When it came to Cam, they let a dangerous (TD got suspended on the same type of INT return) play continue, like helmet to helmet hits, when it was so obvious that there was a touch and the DB was down. KB fell apart mentally with us but the ref not blowing the play down was the cause when in every other case against us they blow it right away. Refs and Cam never seemed to fall under the player safety calls other QBs get.

he threw some good balls yesterday along with some worm burners.  his motion is starting to look like when his shoulder was hurting but one of those int's was a long throw.  a bad long throw, the receiver was beat before he fell down, but long.   idk what to think but i didn't see that spark in his eyes at all.   he's still the starter there.

The Pats board is fun to look at today....   Sound familiar?

For me the biggest problem by far is Cam's lack of fire and intensity. Didn't look like he was playing with desire out there, not in this game, not in the last few games.

There's a huge leadership void left by Brady who would walk up and down the bench and yell and scream at his offense if they didn't have their **** together.

Not seeing anything of the sort from Cam. Who is going to step into that void and take over the leadership?

Cam is not the first generational athlete the NFL has ground to nothing and thrown away and he won’t be the last and when they are done, the athlete is kicked to the curb even the elites   Unitas,  Namath,  Montana among them

The NFL also does  not have guaranteed contracts and a lot of these players should just say ‘no’ when they have coaches who want them to ‘leave it all on the field for their team’ or keep playing when they are injured   Ron Rivera was one of those guys

On Sept 2016, opening game against Denver, I saw Newton take the worst beating to the head of any QB, or player, I have ever seen...so bad it was sickening and this was after all the NFL pablum about ‘protecting players’.    To my eyes, he was never the same on the field or off   Rivera stood with his arms crossed   I emailed every group I could think of to protest the disgusting display

I am very glad I had the opportunity to see Cam play all those years and to meet him last September  and say ‘thanks’ to him in person

I hope he has taken care of his money, and his brain

He sacrificed everything for this franchise and to think what could have been if he had a better coaching staff/GM sucks. It was the right call to move on from him and sadly I think he is done. 2015 was one hell of a ride. If not for the headhunting that the league let slide he may have continued MVP caliber play. I see many outraged at the Bostic  hit on Dalton today but how many damn times did we see Cam takes hit exactly like that and get no calls.

Sure our coaching staff sucked but the headhunting is what ruined Cam and his confidence.  Ill say it again, fuxk the nfl i aint buying poo

I have been vocal about some of cam's faults, but the thought of him being lazy had never crossed my mind. Cannot agree.

Yeah he clearly worked his ass off. I think some of his work he put into the game though was a bit misguided -- and that is not on him, that's on the men who were responsible for guiding him and putting him in a position for success: Mike Shula, Ken Dorsey and ultimately Ron Rivera. All 3 of those people completely failed him in his development here.
