Brady should've called for a short safety valve in case of the jailbreak that happened. Instead we had none and no matter what, it was going to turn out horribly.

Changing the topic---Little did not look bad today.  He had footwork, he did not reach or get over extended.  I want to see more, but I think he is OK with the big DEs--the speed rushers kill him. 

Daley did not look bad at RG. 

Reed sucked--but upgrading a G spot and C is easier than LT and C.

I feel like they kept a tight end on Little's side a lot today.

Didn't make a point to watch Daley but Reed...ouch.

Probably did, and I only watched him about 3 plays, and two did not have a TE--and Little did not get burned across his face as in the past--I really want to see more, and he could be nothing more than depth, but I am still hoping he will put it together because his measureables are off the chain.

If we get Miller back and Daley can move to LG....who knows?

3rd and long in field goal range.  Everybody knew they were coming to keep us out of field goal range.  We should have been content to kick the field goal and run the ball.  

That said Brees had all his time outs and our defense was playing flag football.  No doubt he would have marched down and got a winning FG. 

What an insane defense. To sit in Zone the whole day and think Brees won't pick you apart.

the defense held the taints to two FG in the second half. I think they did just fine.
