Official Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints Gameday Thread

Greetings ladies and gentlemen or whichever descriptor you prefer.

Today the Carolina Panthers travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.

Both teams have significant injuries making today's outcome that much more uncertain.

It will be most interesting to see how Joe Brady performs against his old boss Sean Payton.

Let's go.

Considering their lack of depth at WR I want to see this as the first game we shut down the run. On offense our WRs do the these that the Saints seem to struggle against defending... catching short passes and turning them into first downs. This game is tailor made for us to beat the Saints early in the season.

Boston  is the reason we give 20-yard cushions at CB. When you scheme around a weakness, and go up against Brees, he will take what you give him. Hopefully, however, we can play the CBs tighter this week. They will run vs. us with Kamara, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

Saints weakness is in pass defense. They are good vs the run.  Expect a good day IF we can keep Bridgewater upright.

I really want to see Daley at LG.  Reed was terrible last week.  Has been OK before that.
