So What A Lot Of People Is Saying That Jake ISN'T A Liability & Doesn't Suck?

Jake fumbled too... so what you saying Mort... both of them fumbled when we was trying to come back. Jake can rarely get hit without fumbling

Difference is, D.Will scored twice. Jake didn't throw for any TD's and didn't contribute jack squat like D.Will did

Its to the point, Panthers fans standards are so low just because he didn't throw for any INT, means he didn't suck. Wtf is that

if fox doesn't have enough faith in delhomme to let him throw it consistently (when we're leading), then why bother having him in there at all? seriously?

He has a pretty crisp handoff when he can handle a clean snap.

I'm not blaming Williams for the loss. He made some big mistakes, but they happen. Can't be perfect all the time. Just pointing out that it's not all Jake's fault. On his two long balls as well, one was right through Jarrett's hands and the second one Smith seemed to just lose the ball. If he kept going, it looked like the ball would have fallen right into him in stride.

Just to make things clear, but was a supporter of Jake last year, and the early part of this year, but wound up wanting him benched a couple weeks ago. However, when he plays well, I have no problem saying so. I have no problem saying he plays bad when he does, but this week I just don't see the problem. If a couple of his balls that should have been caught were caught, he would have looked alot better.

If he caught the ball it would have clearly been a TD, but looked like he was about to get clocked and he would have most likely dropped it.

The 3rd Quarter Pass should have been a TD, he dropped that one.

I am talking more about the 4th quarter one.

He could have also looked a lot worse if Sharper had picked off that pass to Smitty on our final drive and returned it for six. We could speculate about what could have happened all day, but the bottom line is that we got a pretty below average day from the 30th ranked passer in the league. Given his position in that ranking, below average is the best we can do.
