Michael Thomas tweaked hamstring in practice

The Saints are pretty mum on his return, but I doubt they put him out there on the lowly 3-3 Panthers if he has a chance of reinjury.

Probably wasn't fully healed from his ankle injury, so his other muscles started overcompensating. Would be very surprised to see him out there this week. Hammy injuries are tricky AF and usually a death sentence for the season.

Thomas (ankle) didn't participate in the part of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Underhill noted Thomas was present at the start of the session, but he eventually left the field with a member of the Saints' training staff. Earlier Wednesday, coach Sean Payton told Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune that the Saints are no longer disciplining Thomas, but he was unsure whether the wide receiver will be available for Sunday's game against the Panthers. It appears Thomas' left ankle still may be bothering him, but confirmation likely won't come until the release of Wednesday's injury report.

I think it is code for the player getting revenge for the “fine”. You will not pay me for one game in which you would not let me work because I fought with a teammate and now you will have to pay me for one game in which I cannot/will not work.
